James Maddock is a British singer-songwriter from Countesthorpe, Leicester and since 2000 has been based in New York City. His first success in the U.S. was with his band Wood, whose album 'Songs From Stamford Hill' produced multiple songs appearing on the hit TV show Dawson's Creek, including the Top 5 single 'Stay You'. He is largely associated with the Americana music style and is a Light of Day WinterFest favorite, having performed with Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nile, Garland Jeffreys, Jesse Malin and many others . James has released five solo albums, including 2009's 'Sunrise On Avenue C' which won the NY Music Award for 'Best Americana Album', 'Jimmy & Immy Live at Rockwood Music Hall' (with David Immerglück from the Counting Crows), Wake Up and Dream' which ranked among the top albums of 2011 in WFUV's Listener Poll, 2013’s 'Another Life’ plus his latest release, arguably his best work, 'The Green’ . Joe D'Urso, an Americana/Jersey Shore style roots rocker who tours and records extensively, began rollicking in the early '90s. His raw style is keenly similar to the likes of fellow rockers John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. Joe has been critically acclaimed for being a passionate songwriter and an earnest performer with a deep love for making music. He and his band independently released their debut, Rock-Land, in 1993 and since then have released 12 more albums including Glow (1998), Rock and Roll Station (2000) and the most recent Sway (2013).
