Golf “Fore” Parkinson’s is a joint effort between the Russo family and the Light of Day Foundation.

"About 7 years ago, my family received the burdening news that my mother, Joan Russo was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Without any prior knowledge of the disease the future was a bit of a mystery for us. My family and I decided to be proactive in helping combat this disease for my mother and for anyone else who suffers from the disease in the future. The statistics regarding Parkinson ’s disease may not be known to many but they are still astonishing. The combined cost of Parkinson’s disease, including treatment, social security payments and lost income from inability to work is estimated to be nearly $25 billion per year in the United States alone. Our missions is to help find a cure for this disease and to raise as much money as possible." Gianluca Russo

The Light of Day Foundation, Inc. utilizes the power of music to raise money and awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses such as PSP and ALS within our lifetime. The Foundation’s mission is to fund research into possible cures, improved treatments and support for patients who suffer from those illnesses, their families and their caregivers to help improve their quality of life.

We hope to see you there! Thank you very much!
