Light of Day takes over Asbury Park

Bruce Springsteen and a little “Rock ’n’ Roll Radio” joined in the fight against Parkinson’s disease at the Light of Day main event Saturday night at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park. Springsteen joined Jesse Malin for a cover of the Ramones classic “Do You Remember Rock ’n’ Roll Radio.”

“He helped me with the lyrics to that one,” Malin said, noting the ’60s music idols mentioned in the song.

The hope for a day without Parkinson’s underlined the Light of Day main event Saturday.
