Unity Walk in Central Park

Light of Day friends and Unity Walk participants! We are meeting at 9 am and will start the walk at 9:30. We'll meet at our traditional spot- the big rock next to the registration. See you there!

IMPORTANT WALK NEWS for those attending the Unity Walk in Central Park this Saturday:

THERE IS NO OFFICIAL START TO THE WALK THIS YEAR. (SEE BELOW) WE CAN START AS A GROUP OR INDIVIDUALLY WHENEVER WE CHOOSE BUT WE MUST BE DONE BY NOON. LOD WOULD LIKE TO WALK AS A GROUP IF POSSIBLE. We are working on a meeting time and spot. Stay tuned.


REGISTRATION OPEN: 8:30 am to 11:30 am
BOOTHS OPEN: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

*******WALK ROLLING START: NEW FOR 2016! 8:30am through 11:30am. The Parks Department has asked that we are off the Walk route by 12noon.*********
*******Register and roll! Start walking when you’re ready rather than waiting for the Walk to start. After you check in at the Registration tent, enjoy the Walk route and informational booths at a time that’s right for you, and at your own pace. Our emcees will still be shouting out to our teams at the Start and Finish of the Walk throughout the event.

Enter Central Park using the 72nd Street entrances on Fifth Avenue or Central Park West. Look for Unity Walk volunteers and our signs to greet you! Golf carts will be available if you require transportation into the event. 


You must check in at Registration to pick up your Unity Walk hat, bag and button.
